Strand

Die Gegend bietet zahlreiche malerische erstaunliche Strände an, verteilt über die gesamte Küstenlinie in verschiedenen Variationen. Jeder Bereich auf seine Art wartet darauf seine Besucher zu faszinieren. Der Sommer liefert die Möglichkeit die Schönheit der Strände zu genießen. Die meisten der Strände sind ausgezeichnet mit der Blauen Flagge, ein Zeichen für Sauberkeit, Klimainteressen, Sicherheit und vertrauenswürdige Strände. Durch Bemühungen der lokalen Behörden und privater Organisationen bekamen die Strände über die letzten Jahre die Blaue Flagge verliehen. Die Wasserqualität wird ständig durch ein staatliches Institut und ein privates Labor geprüft.

Campoudi Beach

A long, attractive coastline extending 4km right before from the settlement of Ouranoupoli with sparkling waters. Along its side there are beautifully set hotels, which support, organize and take care of the beach, offering cleanliness, safety and facilities such as beach bars, restaurants, sea sports, events, and lots of others.

Kakoudia Beach

From Ierissos heading to Stratoni, at a distance of approximately 2km, on your right hand you will find a dirt road leading to Kakoudia Beach. What makes this beach special are its scenic granite rock formations, scattered along the shoreline in different sizes, when the myriads of the tiny shells give the sand a white-rose vibrant colour.

Ierissos Beach

The famous beach of Ierissos, which frames the whole length of the settlement, with blue crystal waters and sand at a size of rice, attracting visitors from all the surrounding area. Tasteful cafes and the community work together in order to organize and take care for the cleanliness and safety, offering in the same time facilities which makes the beach quite appealing.

Xeropotami Beach

Xeropotami touches the side of Siggitikos Gulf, a today’s small summer settlement, giving life again to the abandonment which experienced during 1930. From Ierissos heading to Gomati, at a distance of 2km you will find on your left hand a wide dirt road, which you follow for 6km. In the middle of the drive you find the agelong holly, a point which reveals a dramatic view to Siggitikos and Ierissos Gulfs. An easier way to reach the beach would be following the way you will find right 100m before the small port of Tripiti, (coming from Ierissos heading to Ouranoupoli). You turn at your right, in this dirt road and you follow it for 4km. The view to Ammouliani and Sithonia that the beach offers, will compensate you for each kilometer of your way.

Alikes Beach

One of the most famous, cosmopolitan beaches of the area, with exotic characteristics and turquoise waters, blended with the island’s touch, justifying its reputation. It is located at back side of Ammouliani, offering uninterrupted views to the beaches of Sithonia when the beach bars and the music sounds fortify its glamour.

Aghios Georgios Beach ( St George )

Aghios Georgios is located at the front side of Ammouliani, starting from the village heading to the left. During your drive you will find other beautiful beaches as well, offering more options. On the beach there are small taverns which will take care of your hunger after the enjoyable swimming in its crystal clear waters.

Drenia

Drenia (or Gaidouronisia for the locals), is a marvelous complex of uninhabited isles, set right across from Ouranoupoli, at a distance of 2miles. Daily small boats transfer bathers beginning from 10:00 until 18:00, having as a starting point the dock in front of the Tower. On the islands you will find a small tavern for meals and coffee. The exotic atmosphere is being fortified by its semolina-sized, crystallized sand which contrasts to the azure waters. You can also rent a boat (no driving license required) and discover your own private beach!

Comitsa Beach

Comitsa is located at the settlement of Nea Roda, a nice figured beach, which you will find on the way to the port, at a distance of 5km. During this drive you will find other beaches as well, but this one of Comitsa will magnetize you. A fully organized one, equipped with lots of facilities, restaurant, café and others.
